Conservation Foundation

We purchased a property not far from the Koala Hospital for conservation and plantation to harvest leaf for our hospitalised koalas. The 230 acre property is just 10km from the Koala Hospital.

To maintain this property we need your help.

Donations of $1,000 or more will be acknowledged on our website and local media.

For a donation of $2,000 we will name one acre after the person of your choice.  There will be a permanent notation at the Koala Hospital and acknowledgement on our website and in the local media.

Our Conservation Supporters

Port Macquarie has the largest population of koalas on the East Coast of Australia. Koala habitat is being diminished by development that will eventually cause the koala population to become extinct unless there are large areas set aside for the active protection of the koalas’ natural habitat and for the future of the koala.

The purpose of the Conservation Foundation is to conserve, protect and restore habitat areas for koalas and prevent their extinction or reduction.

This property will also assist other fauna and flora, especially conservation reliant species, to survive alongside the koala.  For an update on rhe development of this site contact Graham Hargreaves or
