Junior members working at the Koala Hospital are required to have private or school insurance.

Peter’s career began when he joined Qantas in the accounting section and through his airline work, he moved to the United States in 1981.
From there he worked at airports all over the U.S. and Holland for a number of both European and Asian airlines.
Peter decided to come back to Australia in 2002, as the 9 11 New York terrorist attack caused financial havoc to the airline industry world wide.
Peter went for a car trip to Cairns and “dropped in” to visit a school friend in Port Macquarie on the way back and stayed!!!
Peter joined the Koala Hospital in June 2004, looking for something interesting to do, and fell in love with koalas.
